> Cattive notissie, buone notissie - Bad news, good news

Cattive notissie - bad news :
XD
- Market of Sunday = 20€ petrol + 5€ rent of the place + 7€ food + 4,80€ motorway + sunburn... All of that, just to sell a 3€ beads ring! XD

- My boss changed holidays shifts without teling anyone (cos I should have imagined that... Blimey, if I had this gift I wouldn't be here, doing a job I nearly hate, wasting the better hours of the day, wrapped in a wool uniform!). So he'll let me go on holidays anyway, but between us war is open!

Menomale che ci sono anche belle notissie! - Luckily there are good news too!
- This evening I'll go to Tuscany and next week I'll go back to England to see Steve!
^^

- I got wonderful cards from Alessandra of Dal Cielo In Su... ! I'll take pictures of them in the best way possible, so I'll show them to you too! :-)

- Sonia of La Bottega Delle Fate gave me a prize! :-O

To accept the prize I have to indicate five blogs that inspire me... Just 5, it's so hard :-S
So, I decided to choose them with the famous random technique!

- Gatto Creativo ;
- GIARDINI DI LILLA' ;

- igiardinidimarzo ;
- LE IDEE DI MONY ;
- momo's treaures .

Grazie :-*
But I want to remind to all the others, creatives or not, that all their blogs give me inspiration, so they all deserve the prize!
Thank you :-*

Ciao a tutti e godetevi l'estate! :-***
Well, I'll go now and I hope to see you after holidays, in about fifteen days! Ciao all and enjoy summer! :-***

> Phew!

:-$

I was nearly changing the template and using one with a sort of rainbow... It wasn't bad, but there was something here and there that didn't persuade me to use it! So, at least for now, I'll keep using my dear old simple default model! XD
And, seeing as these days I'm selling in some markets, today I'll show you some buttons ring :-)
But don't tell grandmother I used her buttons, or we'll be in troubles XD
I'm sorry for the sausage-hands, but I have just them
:-$

Buon fine settimana! :-*

I hope you liked them :-)
For these rings I must thank Il Gatto Creativo (Creative Cat), my friend, who had the idea :-*
At the moment I'm trying to make the actual ring with my hands, from copper wire, but I think I still need a long training... Cos I wasted 6 metres of copper wire to make just two rings! ^^'
Have anice weekend! :-*

> L'attore porno - The pornographic actor

! E' in pausa pranzo?

- Venerdì 11 (ma è domani!) e Sabato 12 (ma è dopodomani!) , al Parco XVII Aprile 1944, a Piazza dei Tribuni, Roma (zona Quadraro);

Ciao a tutti! :-*

Yes, you understood.
The only charachter I never met was him and now I can say I met him.

Uapa decides to share her lunch with two sparrows and some pigeon on some stairs in the shadow, before going in the office. Near her a man is playing a guitar and tells her to enjoy the lunch.

XX: I'm sorry, I don't speak well Italian, I'm Portuguese!
UU: ah, don't worry! where are you from, in Portugal?
XX: Lisbon.
UU: Lisbon is nice, I went there with school ^^

XX: Yes, it's a nice city, you can live well there! (especially when they don't hang pigeons on the blinds of your shop, like we saw...) ! Is it your lunch time?
UU: Yes, but I can't eat in the office, so I'm eating here...
XX: Ah. I work too, but not with the guitar, this is just a hobby. I earn a lot, but there are a lot of dues to pay...
UU: Eh, that's the same for everyone... What's your job? >> me and my curosity >:-S
XX: It's a singular job, many people are a bit interdict...I'm an actor, in short films...
UU: Ah, nice! >> unaware Uapa...
XX: Short pornographic films...
UU: Ah ^^'

And then he even told me how he started this career! XD
But let's change subject...!

Four people (!) answered to the opinion poll!
As many people noticed, the answer D is the formula to find the triangle area, so they excluded that could be usueful to find how many standing places there are on a bus... Even if, dividing the ideal rectangle of the bus floor with a diagonal line..........
Direct experience of answering people made them exclude the answer A, that looks too crazy to be real... But I know someone who disagrees ;-)
The silver medal goes to answer C: 25% of the answering people think that standing places on the bus are decided using the numbers that were called during the lottery estraction! A realistic possibility that unfortunately other people didn't like...
And the gold medal, with 75% of votes, goes to answer B!
So, here the mistery is solved:
Q- How do public transport companies decide how many standing places are available on the bus?
A- With practical tests, where thin-naked people without baggage stand quiet on a stuck bus!

And now, let me remind you that I'll partecipate to these little markets:
- Friday 11 (tomorrow!) and Saturday 12 (the day after tomorrow!) at Parco XVII Aprile 1944, in Piazza dei Tribuni, Roma (Quadraro area);
- Sunday 13 (the day after the day after tomorrow!) in Cantalupo in Sabina, another lovely village in the area of Rieti.
As ever, let me also remind you that for those who read this blog, even just by case, there'll be a little gift!

Now I have to go, there are still many things to prepare ^^
Ciao all! :-*

> Domenica in Toscana - Sunday in Tuscany

Come? Troppo dal principio? Beh...
... Ma certo, perché no?! Ci sono volontari??? XD
Ora vi saluto, buon inizio settimana a tutti! :-*

I'm back, after I spent a sunny Sunday in Tuscany, in my aunt's agritourism, for the Holy Communion of my cousin's daughter!
A Sunday that was also characterized by lunch, some mistery and bath in the swimming pool!
Let's start from the beginning... In the beginning, when the Earth was still a poor little uninhabited planet... What? Too far in the past? Uhm... Yes, maybe... Ok, let's skip some page...
Yesterday the alarm went off at 6:00 (yahoo! We all dream about having to wake up at 6:00 on a Sunday!) and we left home to go to Il Sasso, where all our relatives were ready to celebrate Sara!
The ceremony was characterized by concentration and commotion incense clouds, that nearly poisoned a 90% of those who partecipated! Luckily, some hours later, the smell definitively left our clothes!
The restaurant they chose to have lunch was La Locanda del Castello di Sorci, where, apart from having a great lunch, you can also have a little touristic tour and know a bit of the history of the castle...
In the ancient dungeons, war prisoners were tortured and killed, many of them were even buried when they were still alive (many of them are still there :-S)... Here you can see and touch the terrible machines they used during inquisition... We all jumped when, in the lugubrious atmosphere of that place, we heard a bang! Panic didn't last much: one of my cousins kept touchng a machine and its mechanism snapped: "I wanted to see how it works!" ... Oh, yes, right, isn't there any volunteer??? XD
However, our tour started earlier, cos we could: have lunch in the room on the second floor, among swords and morningstars (uhm... Can you please lend me one, to "show" it to "I know who" ?!); have a drink in the Mirrors Room ("It's called like that, cos there were 4 mirrors here. But someone stole 2 of them and they're not here anymore... " eh, it seems quite fair to me, "The walls and their embroidery are entirely handpainted" does it matter if the waiter exploded the sparkling wine on them?), where many people had many séances; visit the misterious bedroom of the ancient owner: Baldaccio of Anghiari.
And that's where the mistery starts: believe it or not, his ghost still claims the property of the castle.
Baldaccio wanted his power to grow more and more and he tried to conquer as many lands as he could. To reach his goal, he was ready to fight in any way possible, licit or illicit: weaking adversaries with quick attacks and then attacking them with a stronger and more organized army; using tortures; even challenging the Church power, whom untouchable priests were left in hanging cages, until they died.
All these things caused some problem to such a nice person, who, in 1441, died in an ambush: attracted to Palazzo Vecchio (Florence) to discuss new war strategies, he was attacked, killed and beheaded.
But it seems like Baldaccio doesn't give up and keeps haunting the Sorci Castle, asking for justice, cos he was betrayed, and chasing, or better, trying to chase away intruders.
A lot of people don't believe the story of the ghost, first of all the actual owner, who's not scared by the noises in the night (steps and shouts lasting several minutes), nor by crazy furniture (tables that smash against the walls, pianos playing on their own), nor by people who, without knowing the legend, ran away, scared to death, after being attacked and injured by something invisible, nor by the instinct of his own dog, who doesn't dare to go in Baldaccio's bedroom.
I can't tell you if the ghost is really there or not (cos I already have my opinion), but it's a really suggestive place, the owner (at least the actual one) is extrimely nice and food is great, so, if you're near there, I think visiting it is really worth it :-)
Then we went back to the agritourism, in the swimming pool, where me and all my cousins had the first bath of the year risked hibernation!!!
At least for me the day ended at this point, cos I had to go back to Rome... I can't remember much of the trip back home, cos I was so tired I fell asleep! XD But I can remember a field red red of papavers, Tiber coming near the motorway here and there and Jupiter shining in the sunset light ^^
Now I have to go, I wish you all a nice beginning of the week! :-*

> Un po' di notissie! - Some news!

> Guardate intorno a voi... - Look around you...

Sometimes we walk in places we know well, without even looking at them, cos everything seems simply "normal", a scene that keeps repeating itself every day, nearly without changing and we don't notice it anymore... Oh so boring!
But it would be just enough to open our mind a bit to see that our world is full of strange and particular things, that can make the day more funny...

Giant pineapple that grow in the gardens during the night, in the moonlight...

Una Luna di Cioccolato!
A Chocolate Moon!

Filobus bilingue, su cui viaggiano passeggeri silenziosissimi, tutti diretti verso la meta tanto ambita...
Bilingual trolley buses, on which very silent passengers travel to reach the coveted goal...

...La leggendaria Pietra dell'Eloquenza!
...The legendary Eloquence Stone!

In this "new" world everything is different... Even the Solitaire on the pc goes crazy and changes the rules of the game!

And there's even who creates a tv channel just for crazy people: Telepeace Internees, whose director is a certain...

Abete!
Fir!

See? You can still be surprised by things that surround you!

So, even if sometimes we feel a shadow hanging over us...

... Non ci dobbiamo chiudere in noi stessi!
... We don't have to refuge in ourselves!

The important thing is knowing how to keep playing the game, even when things look bigger than us.

And, facing life with philosophy, I assure you that everything will look more funny!

> Sondaggio di Giugno! - June Opinion Poll!

It's a long time I didn't do one, so I'm back!
How many times you saw a bus so full of people, that they were all mashed on the windows?
And how many times, reading on those plates in the bus "Standing places: 93", you wondered if the transport companies tried to think that people go on a bus dressed up and often carrying various bags-backpacks-shoppers?
Well, unfortunately no bus driver could answer my questions, so I thought about you!
On the right you'll find the opinion poll:

How do public transport companies decide how many standing places are available on the bus?
1) Calculating the maximum weight a bus can load.
2) Doing practical tests, during which thin naked people who don't carry any sort of baggage go quietly on a bus that doesn't move at all.
3) Using the numbers that were called during the lottery estraction.
4) b x h : 2 .

I can't wait for your answers, who will you let win? ;-)
